This is a personal portfolio website run by Bogdan Predi. I take your privacy seriously and this page explains what data is collected when you visit predi.dev and why.
When you submit the contact form, the following personal data is collected:
This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry. It is transmitted via submit-form.com and delivered to my email inbox. It is not used for marketing, not shared with any other third party, and not stored beyond what is needed to reply to you.
If you consent to cookies, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data, including:
Your IP address is anonymized by Google Analytics before storage. No personal identifiers such as your name or email are collected through analytics.
Contact form: Data is processed on the basis of your consent — you choose to reach out and provide your details voluntarily.
Analytics: Data is only collected with your explicit consent via the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Decline" on the banner (clear your browser's local storage to see it again) or by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish visits. This site also stores your cookie preference in localStorage (not a cookie) so the banner is not shown on every visit.
If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.
Contact form data is kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and is then deleted from my inbox.
Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data you have submitted. To exercise these rights, reach out via the contact form or email directly.
